First let me start by saying that I am extremely well-versed in the DSM and psychotropic pharmaceuticals.
For the last few years I have been plagued by generalized anxiety and accompanying insomnia. I’ve gone to psychiatrist after psychiatrist, and they’ve always prescribed me some antidepressant or another, none of which ever work (and yes, I’ve obediently [...]

I need to see a sleep specialist really badly. I have had horrible issues with my sleep for the last couple years. I can’t sleep at night whatsoever. It’s 5am and I have yet to sleep. I’ve been on all of the sleeping meds and if they do work, they have really bad side effects. [...]

I take 5 benadryl tablets every night to fall asleep. Do you think this is too much? I have horrible insomnia and I’ve built up a tolerance to this drug as a means to help me sleep.
