Lied on the medical questionnaire?

I’m going through the process of joining the Navy(hopefully Aviation Search and Rescue). On Thursday I was "influenced" by my recruiter to put no on everything in my medical history even though I was treated for insomnia/depression. I never actually had depression in my opinion, just wanted help with my sleep troubles. I didn’t take any of the medication prescribed to me except the sleeping pills(once and they did not help). Now I’m reading articles about it and starting to get worried that this might come back to bite me in the butt. He said that they’ll never find out but what if I need security clearance for something? Has someone gone through a similar experience and please offer some detailed information/advice.
If it’s any help at all I’ve taken the ASVAB and gotten a 91 while passing all fields. Got high scores on all sections. I’m 20 y/o with 61 college credits. Going for my physical at MEPS on Tuesday.

Why can't I sleep without antipsychotic medication?

I take Geodon for manic depression. The problem is that I can’t sleep for a second without it. But Geodon does not cause sedation. Actually one of the side effects is insomnia. Still, I need Geodon to sleep. Why?

Strange 3rd trimester symptoms?

(I posted this somewhere else, just looking for a little more feedback)

I will be 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and for the past week I’ve been experiencing awful symptoms that I just can’t see as normal..

-Mainly, SEVERE itching. and I mean, everywhere (mostly on my feet and my hands- but it itches everywhere else too). it has gotten to the point where I have scratched so furiously that I’ve drawn blood. It sounds ridiculous, but I literally can not control myself.

-Really, really yellow urine. I thought I could possibly not be drinking enough water, but I have been watching myself and I am drinking far more than I should be.

-Insomnia. Mainly because I’m up all night itching… but I am getting maybe 2-3 hours a night and occasionally I can snag an hour nap during the day. It’s just impossible to sleep when I’m tearing up my hands and feet scratching. ]=

My poor fiance has been trying so hard to help me, but he has no idea what to do. I wake him up crying all night long because I just can’t stop scratching and I just can’t sleep. He’s even had me take benadryl and I’ve been using hydrocortizone- but there is no relief. Has anyone else ever had this happen? What should I do?

Anxiety medication questions, increased suicidal thoughts + more?

i have recently switched to an anxiety med from an antidepressant med, about 2 weeks ago. Im not taking Valium a Benzodiazepine med. the side effects i have noticed are, mild insomnia, not good at memory on little things, loosing train of thought, increase in sex drive, increase in thoughts of suicide and wanting to cut again.

im seeing my doctor in lil over a week, besides these side effects, my anxiety is gone which is a relief with the absense of attacks, im happy, not depressed. The thoughts of suicide and wanting to cut dont effect my depression b/c these thoughts are soothing to me. Any advice on whether i should stay w/ this medication or switch?
i have attempted suicide in the past when the suicidal thoughts were over powering, afraid they could intensify to this level again.

What are the most common medications for Bipolar disorder 2 patients?

Saphris Side Effects?

I have bipolar 1 disorder and I started Saphris a week ago. I’m now supposed to wean myself off of the 500 mg of Seroquel I’ve been taking each night and I’m frankly scared to death of getting off the Seroquel. I’ve battled with insomnia for years and Seroquel is the only medication that has helped me sleep normally. My psychiatrist thinks my 80 pound weight gain and memory problems are attributed to the Seroquel. I was wondering if anyone has success stories with Saphris, especially stories regarding Saprhis and insomnia.

Do you think I have insomnia?

O.K. I’m 12 years old (I know I’m young to think about stuff like insomnia but my mind is irritatingly mature for my age)
I normally can fall asleep until about 12 o’clock(On a good night)
I sometimes wake up very early in the morning
I get very stressed (Not a symptom, just a possible cause)

What do you think?

How have you guys got on with the Mirena IUD? Major Side Effects or Fantastic?

I’m just curious on how well the Mirena IUD is rated with you guys? I was previously on the Copper IUD which slipped inside me and made me pregnant, so do you think the Mirena would be ok for me? I’m naturally kind of worried about another IUD of any kind.

I chose the Copper as it’s hormone free and I suffer from premenstrual dysphoric disorder so I’m trying to opt for an extremely low dose of hormones (as I cant go hormone free now…damn you copper IUD) So does the Mirena fair well with this?

I’m currently on Yasmin and totally hating the constant insomnia and dangerous depression I’m getting from it so I’m looking for a change at the end of the packet..Would you recommend the Mirena Coil?

(Yes, I’m going to ask my doctor aswell..I dont need to be told, I just need some Mirena reviews and experiences)
