My son is having side effects from taking ecstasy weeks ago, I want to know if others are having the same?
My son is 19yrs , he has not lived at home for a while. He is know having panic attacks everyday. He is depressed and has no appitiet. He suffers with insomnia. I really want to help him get over this. I have done research on the drug and I feel I understand what has happened chemically. I just want to know if others are having the same problems as he is ??? He has ask to go to the Dr. I will take him, But I dont know about treating him with more drugs to conteract the current drug induced problem. Please share if anyone can Id appriciate it.

depending on how much ex he has taking over a period of time he may be having withdrawls from not having it, it would probably be a good idea to take him to a doctor soon if it doesn’t stop, they could prescribe him something that could counteract the symptoms he is having good luck

February 21st, 2010 at 7:02 pmthats not from him taking ecstasy one time, its probobly developing all that stuff naturally, even with years of ecstasy use there is still no fact of people getting depressed, etc. they could but its not for sure. most of the information you read about is not true, its all pretty much false, only a few websites actually have the real facts on ecstasy use. ecstasy is not bad if you take proper precautions: smoking weed while on it (weed protects certain brain cells that ex might damage) drinking water or orange juice so he obtains extra vitamins, getting a pill from people he knows, and waiting at least 3 weeks to do ex again. it takes 3 weeks for serrotonin to reproduce itself naturally, and if u take it before then ur serrotonin wont regenerate, and lose some serrotonin wich could lead to depressions, but only before 3 weeks, after it its fine. look into a supplement called 5-htp, its a pill and it creates more serrotonin in your brain, lots of ecstasy users use it including me to restore and produce much more serrotonin in your brain, and it reall works, its over the counter go to vitamin world or walmart or something and ask for 5-htp it does wonders. the people above me saying it might be withdrawls is false, ecstasy is not physically addicting therefore nobody can go threw a withdrawl, ecstasy is mentally addicting like someone could love the effects that ectsasy gives them so much that they wana do it over and over, people can go to a rehab for ectasy so they wont use it again, but they wont go threw withdrawls or anything, people for other drug addictions(heroin, meth, etc) get put on medications that are similar to the drug tehy are taking but not as harmful so they wont get withdrawls, but there is not medications for ectasy, they werent created for ecstasy because ecstasy addictions dont need it, they can be taken off e anytime without any body harm goodluck
