Are records kept of the number of times a Sheriff attempts service?

A default granting of a TRO was obtained against me because the other person said the LA Sheriff’s Dept attempted service 5 times, as if it justified an Order to Shorten…

My sense is that the other person let the Sheriff in at 5:30 a.m.–knowing better than anyone I use medication for insomnia…

Had it been possible to wake me, I would’ve been too foggy to have functioned…

There were other things, of course…e.g., the other person claiming it was a matter of life and death, that I had that other person properly served at work…

The other person couldn’t be served at home…

(1) the other person doesn’t have a phone to admit a Sheriff through the security gate;
(2) the other person would likely decline to admit a Sheriff because of previous bad behavior refusing to open the door even when the people knocking at the door were people with whom the other person had innocuous business contacts…

I was accused of 19 other things, none of which were true…

    I was a private porcess service agent and yes we had to keep a complete record of every attempt.

    So you got a temporary order, because you were not served, and they don’t care if you were awake fully or not, if you were at door you would have been served.
    In some areas if we know you are at the door, we can slide the order under the door to you.

    So now you merley file in court and show up which is what you were suppose to do to start with and show why the order should be dismissed.
